We take a hands-on approach to incense making. Using a traditional coating technique known as empanado, we carefully layer resins, aromatic botanicals, woods such as Peruvian Palo Santo, selected oils, and upcycled fruit biomass—depending on the blend. The fruit-based material gives a by-product of juice production a second life and helps reduce reliance on charcoal, while the layered process gives each stick its distinctive texture and allows the fragrance to unfold gradually as it burns.

We do not believe there is only one way to enjoy incense. Sometimes it marks the beginning of a personal practice; other times, it simply makes the room feel warmer and more inviting.
